In a couple of days it will be the first race of a new season. With a number of rule changes (no traction control/drive aids being the one everyone is talking about) it should prove to be an exciting season. Methinks Ferrari is going to run away with it, but mehopes not. I want to see racing, like we did last year, with fewer scandals, and maybe BMW chasing down the top 2 teams as well.

Six Ferrari's started, not one finished. I'm not 100% certain about the others but at least three were engine failures including Massa, Raikonnen, and Bourdais. That does not bode well for the red team.
Still with Rubenio's disqualification Raikonnen gets a point. I really would've like to see fewer mistakes from both Ferrari drivers though. It was quite shoddy.
I am pleased to see the BMW's doing well. If they can pull out a few more enhancements to that car they will be challenging for the top, and if Ferrari can get their reliability and driver error issues sorted out, there'll be three teams racing there. I'm also quite impressed with what Alonso managed with what is clearly a shitty Renault.
All in all I think that was an exciting start to the season, and I'm sure Malaysia will be more of the same.
